(MICROLEARNING)

Knowledge pills is a method of education that strengthens professional competences by using short pieces of multimedia advice. That method is exploding in popularity. The workplace continues to evolve and employees are working less 9 to 5 and more synergistically throughout all hours of the day, often on the fly from mobile devices, away from the office.

As the learning industry shifts to a “resources, not courses” approach, we must remember that just because we are creating smaller courses, we are necessarily delivering valuable content. SOCIAL LEARNING

Social learning is a sharing knowledge, information and experience via interactive discussion and collaboration among peers. It may be enhanced using technology, including social media. It is true that “all learning is social,” in the sense that culture, language, and/or interactions with others are usually involved.

Education and training used to be based on learning all everything you might need to know to be an expert in your job and to teach others. Communications channels have moved from “one to many” to “many to many.” This has radically altered power relationships between learners and instructors. It is also the main reason that learning is now seen as “social” rather than being the result of “teaching.” Also, the learner has moved from being immobilized in a classroom to being mobile in the world while still connected to the information that he or she might need.
